The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan will be considering the new enlarged plans for the Stag Brewery on Tuesday 27th July. He will receive a report from his planning team which will recommend approval or refusal. This report will only be available to the public 7 days before the hearing from Tuesday 22nd July. Sadiq will hear from the developers, LB Richmond Council and the community and will make his decision whether to approve or reject the scheme shortly after the Hearing.
MBCG intend to strongly object to the enlarged scheme and a small number of us have asked to address the Mayor at the Hearing. The amount of time to make objections is limited to just 15 minutes. We have requested that this pitiful amount of time is extended to allow for the diverse range of voices in Mortlake and beyond to have their say. We await to see whether this request is granted.
